The location was very good, offering private parking and easy access to all the places of interest in the city center, with a pedestrian area just 100 meters away. On the downside, the dining options were limited, with a recommendation to explore alternatives nearby. The hotel's facilities were decent, with artisanal bread available. Guests looking for a cozy retreat close to the main attractions of Ghent may find this hotel suitable for their vacation.

The hotel has a unique mix of neo-Georgian and Irish country cottage vibes, with an early ready breakfast at 11 AM by the river side bar. The hotel is centrally located with rooms up a very steep windy staircase not suitable for children or those with mobility difficulties. While the kitchen gases could be a downside, the overall convenience is remarkable despite a slight damp smell from the bathroom being 'in' the room.
